SI Defense Billet AR 308 Matched Set Upper/LowerThis is a Matched set AR 308 stripped upper and lower reciever. It is made from 7075 billet aluminum. Hand matched for a tight fit. They are both anodized per MIL-A-8625. Set price is $675. Upon reviewing their website I believe the set up for review is a Generation II lower and a Generation I upper.
The set has a very tight fit. No signs of light between the two. Anodized coating is done very well, no bare spots or places that are done heavier than others. The upper and lower seemed to be shaved and fluted to reduce weight.

Heres where the build stands. I went with a A2 style buttstock and grip, Timney AR-10 trigger which required a little fitting but worked out perfectly. A DPMS AR-15 LPK then purchased the pivot pin, takedown pin, and .308 buffer and spring separately. all other parts matched up perfectly. Duracoat Air Force Digital Tan was used for a first coat.
