FNH FNAR .308 SNIPER RIFLE

fneject

I PURCHASED THIS RIFLE ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND HAVE ABOUT 2000 ROUNDS THROUGH IT SO IT ABOUT TIME I DO A REVIEW. I HAVE THE HEAVY BARREL VERSION BECAUSE I WANT TO USE IT FOR MEDIUM RANGE PLINKING 400-800 YARDS. THE RIFLE IS SHOWN WITH A LEUPOLD MARK AR MOUNTED TO IT WHICH I WILL WRITE A REVIEW ON AT A FUTURE DATE BUT FOR THE TESTING OF THE FNH FNAR I MOUNTED A LEUPOLD MARK 4 3.5X10 WITH A 40MM OBJECTIVE.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS WERE THAT THIS RIFLE WAS REALLY WELL MADE AND ALL THE CONTROLS WERE SOLID. THE HEAVY BARREL OF COURSE MAKES IT FRONT HEAVY BUT WITH THE LIGHTER BARREL WOULD MAKE A GREAT HUNTING RIFLE. THE MOA "MINUTE OF ANGLE" GUARANTEE WITH THIS RIFLE WAS DEAD ON. I SHOT A 1/2" GROUP AT 200 YARDS AND A 5" GROUP AT 700 YARDS. RECOIL IS MINIMAL, CONSIDERABLY LESS THAN MY REMINGTON 700 .308 BOLT GUN. THE FACTORY FINISH IS VERY DURABLE BUT AS YOU CAN TELL I AM A DURACOAT FAN. TRIGGER IS COMPARABLE TO A 1911 WITH HARDLY ANY CREEP. WE MEASURED A 3.5 PD BREAK.

IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A SEMI-AUTO .308 I DEFINATELY WOULDNT PASS THIS FIREARM UP. YOU GET ALOT OF BANG FOR YOUR BUCK WITH THIS AUTOLOADER. IN COMPARISION TO THE .308 AR VARIANTS IN THIS PRICE RANGE I THINK YOU WILL FIND THE FEATURES AND ACCURACY OF THE FNH FNAR WILL BE HARD TO BEAT. ATTACH A QUALITY OPTIC WITH GOOD RINGS AND HAVE A BLAST. THIS RIFLE IS DEFINATELY A "GO"

300 or 400 yard zero, cant quite remember and forgot to zoom back, look at second target from left, after the shot theres just alot of talking so you can stop the video after that so dont waste your time

400YRD OR 500YRD SECOND FROM LEFT YOU WILL SEE IT SWING ONLY ONE SHOT SO DONT WASTE TIME WITH THE REST OF VIDEO AFTER SHOT

600yrds second target from left
